Australian logistics software innovator launches end-to-end multimodal platform designed to increase margins in an increasingly complex logistics landscape.
Australian logistics software specialist CtrlBOX has officially announced the launch of CtrlBOX TMS, a purpose-built Transportation Management System (TMS) designed specifically to address the financial and operational complexities of container logistics.
The system evolved from an in-house TMS developed over 25 years within a large successful family container logistics business. Now, after two years of intensive development, the commercial ready platform introduces a full end-to-end multimodal integration focused on control and efficiency, along with a fresh brand identity.
As global container networks grow in complexity, logistics operators are under unprecedented pressure to safeguard tight operating margins. Fuel cost pressures resulting from the tensions in the Middle East have accentuated this.
While traditional TMS platforms often serve as simple digital dashboards for shipment tracking and documentation, CtrlBOX shifts the focus toward meaningful financial impact and cost-focused optimization.
CtrlBOX bridges the gap between operational coordination and financial health by automating workflows to reduce administrative overhead and minimize data errors.
“The CtrlBOX system is an integral part of our operations,” says QUBE’s WA Transport Manager, Mark Dominish. “The team likes the system as it’s easy to use, and its scheduling tool has helped us increase fleet efficiency and improve our on-time delivery performance. Because the owners of CtrlBOX were operators themselves, they fully understand our needs.”
The platform provides real-time visibility across drivers, depots, rail networks, and warehouses, allowing operators to pre-emptively identify and mitigate costly events such as demurrage, container park penalties, and unnecessary ‘dead-legs’ through enhanced scheduling.
“Rather than simply digitising existing processes, CtrlBOX improves how container transport operations function day-to-day,” according to Jim Stevenson, Managing Director of CtrlBOX.
“The platform is engineered for a new generation of logistics companies where a TMS must go beyond organising freight to actively helping operators run leaner, smarter, and more profitable businesses.”
