TMX Transform, the international end-to-end supply chain consultancy, has appointed Colby Chiles as Global Executive Director, Supply Chain. Based in the US working across the group’s global client base, Colby joins TMX with more than 20 years’ experience in supply chain and business transformation, including 17 years in senior leadership at The Home Depot.

Colby will also play a key role in the expansion of TMX’s supply chain consultancy in the Americas, drawing on his experience building one of the country’s largest retail distribution networks.

Colby’s appointment comes as US retailers and distributors face mounting pressure to rethink their supply chain networks, with tariff volatility, reshoring and rising customer delivery expectations forcing faster decisions on where to locate inventory, facilities and fulfillment capacity. The key hire strengthens TMX’s global supply chain leadership as the consultancy grows its presence in the Americas, bringing clients an integrated combination of supply chain, industrial real estate and project management expertise.

Colby joins TMX from a period as an independent consultant, advising retail clients in the US and Australia. Before that, he spent 17 years at The Home Depot, where he helped build its core supply chain services and delivery capabilities. As Vice President of Supply Chain Delivery, he led direct-to-customer delivery strategy, customer experience and operations across online and physical channels.

Most recently, as Vice President of Pro Capabilities, he led the development of the end-to-end experience and business model for Pro customers undertaking complex renovations, including initiatives across merchandising, assortment and pricing. Earlier roles spanned network strategy and supply chain real estate planning, helping build out The Home Depot’s central distribution network. He also held roles at Accenture and UPS Supply Chain Solutions.

Milan Andjelkovic, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at TMX Transform, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Colby to TMX. His experience leading transformation at one of the largest retailers in the US brings real depth to our global leadership team. As clients face growing pressure to adapt their networks, Colby’s perspective will be invaluable in helping them make the right decisions, faster.”

Colby Chiles, Global Executive Director at TMX Transform, said:

“Retailers are under pressure from both sides right now. Customer expectations keep rising while the risks to supply keep multiplying. Too often, networks are designed around a very specific scenario that never actually happens, so businesses need to be flexible and resilient enough to handle the upside and the downside. That’s why it’s such an exciting time to join TMX. Its global reach and integrated expertise across supply chain and real estate put it in a great position to help clients build networks ready for whatever comes next, and I’m looking forward to being part of that growth.”

Jeff Bornino, President – Americas at TMX Transform said:

“Colby’s appointment strengthens our team at an important time for the business. His experience at The Home Depot, across network strategy, delivery and the pro customer, means he understands the decisions our clients are facing from the inside. That depth of retail supply chain expertise will help us continue to grow and support clients as they build networks that can adapt to changing demand and ongoing disruption.”
