Australasia’s supply chain and logistics industry celebrated its outstanding achievers at Brisbane City Hall, with 12 awards, industry-leading speakers and a night of memorable entertainment.
Brisbane City Hall played host to one of the biggest nights on Australasia’s supply chain and logistics calendar on Friday 23 October, as the 2026 ASCLA Industry Awards brought together leaders, innovators and industry professionals for an evening of recognition and celebration.
Held in Queensland for the first time in the Awards’ more than 60-year history, the prestigious gala recognised 59 finalists across 11 nominated categories, with 12 awards presented for achievements spanning supply chain innovation, technology, sustainability, workplace safety, leadership and operational excellence.
With Australian comedian and actor Peter Rowsthorn as MC, keynote speaker Megan Corfield, and a program combining industry insights with unexpected live entertainment, the evening delivered an impressive celebration of the people and organisations shaping the sector.
From the red carpet and networking to the anticipation surrounding each award announcement, Brisbane City Hall provided a fitting backdrop as industry peers came together to recognise the achievements of their colleagues, competitors and collaborators.

Selected at the discretion of the judging panel, the award recognises an exceptional entry from across the Awards program. Young Guns Container Crew received this year’s honour, adding its name to the list of recipients of one of the industry’s distinguished recognitions.
The judging process was led by Lea Diffey and an experienced panel of industry professionals, responsible for assessing this year’s submissions and determining the recipients.
Leadership, innovation and the future of the industry
Beyond the award presentations, the evening brought together speakers addressing some of the issues influencing the future of supply chain and logistics.
Keynote speaker Megan Corfield, Founder and CEO of Glass Ladder, drew on more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across business, government and major events, bringing a perspective on leadership, commercial influence and navigating organisational change.
Naomi Frauenfelder, CEO of Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds, brought mental health and wellbeing into the spotlight, highlighting an increasingly important priority across Australia’s transport, warehousing and logistics sectors. Frauenfelder also presented the Workplace Health & Safety Award.
Representing Platinum Sponsor Oracle NetSuite, Joel Mikkelsen joined the program, bringing extensive experience in enterprise technology and the digital transformation of business operations. Mikkelsen also presented the Supply Chain Management Award.
Together, the presentations added a broader industry perspective to the celebrations, connecting the achievements recognised on stage with the challenges and opportunities ahead.
More than a traditional awards night
While the award announcements remained the centrepiece, guests were treated to a series of performances that transformed the evening beyond a traditional gala dinner.
The night opened with a Welcome to Country and didgeridoo performance by Refiti Tovi and Goma Conlon, setting the scene for an evening that balanced formal industry recognition with moments of humour and surprise.
A deliberately awkward appearance by a seemingly lost waiter turned into a high-energy flash mob performance, while an unexpected theatrical blackout set the stage for illuminated LED drummers, delivering another memorable moment at the historic venue.
Rowsthorn’s trademark humour carried the evening between presentations, with the entertainment and celebrations creating opportunities for industry professionals to connect outside the usual business environment.
Industry support behind the celebration
The 2026 Awards were supported by a broad group of industry sponsors and partners.
Oracle NetSuite supported the event as Platinum Sponsor, alongside Gold Sponsors Toyota Automated Logistics, IFS Softeon and FarEye, and Silver Sponsor EWE Group.
Individual Award Sponsors included Shippit, Mobiledock, Visy, Port of Brisbane, Jungheinrich and Direct Couriers.
RG Dynamics also contributed a Limitless Leadership Coaching package for the Future Leaders Award winner, supporting continued leadership development within the sector.
The event was delivered through the work of the ASCLA Awards Committee, Queensland organising committee, judging panel and event partners, with Awards Committee Chair Chris Josey, Vice Chair and Queensland Director Natalie Wallace, and Chief Judge Lea Diffey playing key roles in the 2026 program.
With its first Brisbane gala now complete, the 2026 ASCLA Industry Awards added another chapter to more than six decades of recognising achievement in supply chain and logistics.
For the industry’s winners and finalists, the evening delivered recognition on one of the sector’s most prominent stages. For those in attendance, it was an opportunity to celebrate the people, partnerships and achievements that rarely receive the spotlight they deserve.
And with another year of Awards concluded, the bar has been set for 2027 to return to Sydney.
Congratulations to the 2026 winners:
