Digitising Paper Processes in a Snap: SOTI's Latest AI Update to Debut at APAC World Tour Event
New SOTI Snap Update to be Showcased at Upcoming SOTI World Tour Event in Malaysia
SOTI has announced that a significant product update to SOTI Snap will be showcased at the upcoming regional customer and partner SOTI World Tour event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The SOTI Snap update utilises artificial intelligence (AI) to extract relevant data from paper and electronic forms without human interaction, therefore simplifying and enhancing key data processing tasks.
The update to SOTI Snap comes at a time when organisations are continuing to mobilise and expand their breadth of devices and corresponding applications with ease and speed across the region. With that comes a need for tighter data security and data management, as well as an overall reduction in manual processes and a need for easier searching and retrieval of data. SOTI Snap users can simply upload a PDF or a picture of the form they need to digitise, and the AI powered application ensures that necessary input fields and labels are populated automatically. With this new feature, users can eliminate the need for lengthy form creation and the risk of manual errors when converting from paper to digital.
"In today’s organisational landscape, the abundance of paper forms and compliance documentation is surprising. Transitioning from paper to digital benefits customers by nearly eliminating the manual inaccuracies and delays from the vast amounts of data processed. With the latest update, SOTI Snap uses AI to accelerate the journey from paper to digital, empowering businesses to thrive. Take a picture of the paper form or upload its PDF. SOTI Snap will create its digital version complete with fields to populate." said Michael Dyson, VP of Sales, APAC at SOTI.
"Manual paper-based processes are challenging. Human error and recording data manually is time-consuming and can lead to incorrect records. With SOTI Snap, businesses are enabled to go digital quickly and efficiently. The benefits of this product allow customers to save money, increase security and boost employee productivity. Organisations can now expedite time-consuming processes such as employee onboarding, visitor sign-in, delivery confirmations and purchase orders, to name a few." said Shash Anand, SVP of Product Strategy at SOTI.
Importantly for organisations operating internationally, SOTI Snap’s AI form generation capability can also facilitate multi-language form generation in over 100 languages. If a user uploads a form in a different language, SOTI Snap can identify the language and generate a form in that same language.
